Fat Skinks: Northern Bar-lipped Skink, Northern Mulch Skink, Bar-tailed Bar-lipped Skink, Bar-shouldered Ctenotus, Robust Ctenotus, Elegant Ctenotus, Port Essington Ctenotus, Leopard Ctenotus and the Northern Blue Tongued Lizard.

Small Skinks: Lined Fire-tail Skink, Storr's Snake-eyed Skink, Northern Dwarf Skink (Menetia maini and Menetia greyii), Ornate Soil-crevice Skink, Metallic Snake-eyed Skink, Northern Soil-crevice Skink and Spadling's Ctenotus.

Rainbow Skinks (Carlia) are another type of Small Skinks: Desert Rainbow Skink, Shaded-litter Rainbow Skink, Bauxite Rainbow Skink and Slender Rainbow Skink.

Where It Lives (habitat)

Usually found in seasonally dry tropical woodlands to arid areas.

What It Looks Like

They have 4 fingers and 5 toes. 

Snout-vent length: 45mm
Grey-brown on back; breeding males have coppery blue-green on head and reddish stripe along side; some scales on back near neck have 3 bold keels instead of 2.
