Like geckos and dragons, we could only find "group" names in traditional languages for the skinks. This one is in the Fat Skinks Group.

Snout-vent length: 75mm
Rich brown and body flecked with dark spots on the front half of the body, and sometimes the base of the tail. Lipped barred with dark brown. Limbs separated by no more than the length of the forelimb when pressed against the side of the body.
It is a nocturnal species, its habitats are from coastal dunes to forests, including vine thickets. This species are burrowers and nocturnal, they find shelter in burrows.
