Where It Lives (habitat)

Lives in trees; gliding membrane between arms and legs allows it to “fly” between trees.

What It Eats (diet)

They eat insects mainly in summer and tree sap and gums in winter but also eat fruits, lizards, bird eggs, fungi and small birds.

What Its Look Like

Body size: 160-200mm; Tail length: 165-210mm

Grey-white body; black stripe from between eyes to lower back; black patches around eyes; cream at base of ears; tail often white-tipped.
