Where It Lives (habitat)

Some people in SE Arnhem Land recognise two types of wubularr (Marra) - one that lives on the plains in holes and under grasses, and one that lives in rocky areas. Rangers found one on night cameras at Ganiarrang Hill.

What It Looks Like

Body size: 230-350mm

A beak and long sticky tongue are used to catch insects such as ants, and hard spiky hair offers protection.
