How It Looks (species Description)

Body size: 160-180cm
Wing span 2.3-2.5m

Large gliding bird with pink bill, white body, black back, and wing edges.
Males are larger than females.

Where It Lives (habitat)

Lives in both fresh and salt water areas.
They move around a lot and can fly for 24 hours covering  hundreds of kilometres.
They can fly 1000m above the ground.

How Many Babies (breeding)

Breeding depends on rainfall.
The nest is a scrape in the ground covered with plants and feathers made by the female.
1-3 eggs are laid and cared for by both parents.
