Found in eucalypt forests, woodlands, dry scrublands, mangroves and roadsides.

Race uropygialis native to SE Arnhem land region.

What Its Look Like?

Body size: 9.5-11.5cm

Plain black crown; white eyebrow starts from yellow mark; white wing streak starts from red spot. Females and juveniles duller.Grey on back with light grey under-parts; black masked face short hooked beak.
